What does Juice do?
Whatever we do, we do well! We are good and we are proud of the level of service that we provide. We don't just do any job or work with any client! Please read the sections below for information on the various activities of our supply.
Production Services. Juice is a great provider of production services for one off or multiple events. Our strength is in the ability to provide all services required with a high degree of quality control to run an event from a small indoor show to a large outdoor multistage event. We have years of experience enabling us to provide exactly the services required or if only providing part of the required services understanding the relationship between all parties concerned taking this into account in our supply.
Touring. We are great at Touring packages, we can offer hi grade equipment and services into most budgets and because we own and operate our own trucking from 7.5t to 38t vehicles we can offer excellent rates on one truck touring with Sound, Lighting and any other of our services with world experienced, multi lingual crew. For the Tour Manager we can offer a one stop shop for all services enabling him to meet ever tightening budgets.
Staging & Covers. We offer Steeldeck staging in 8 feet by 4 feet units at various heights and with jacking legs for sloping and uneven surfaces. We also have Rosco dance floor in black and grey surface. We also have Prolyte roofs for outdoor events upto 12 metre by 10 metre in size with roofs heights to 8 metres.
Sound Equipment. Our work invloves a wide cross section of sound re-inforcement from Orchestral through opera, World Music, Jazz, Blues and Contempoarary Music supplying manned systems with serious equipment, great crew, put together with thought and experience. We care and our crew care, this is not just a job to us or just a means of making money. We are here because we love our work, love music of all types and enjoy our day to day contact with our clients. We stock a wide variety of sound equipment from different loudspeaker systems through desks and control equipment to varied microphones for all applications. Being engineers ourselves on the road for many months of the year we know that versatility in supply is a requirement.
Trussing and Lifting. We can lift and support most items and have support systems from Genie Superlifts through 80kg and 250kg wind up hoists from MobilTech to Prolyte MPT 1tonne self climbing towers and Prolyte Delay Tower Speaker lifting systems (that can lift other items such as video screens etc). We have large amounts of trussing in stock through Prolyte such as H30v and H40v and Total Fabrication pre-rigged trussing for any barrel mounted lighting equipment. All the above are put into place using hand chain hoists by Yale and Electric chain hoists by Verlinde all mounted using the best available and recently tested rigging components. In many venues we have commissioned and installed new rigging points for unusual and different requirements from artistes.
Lighting Equipment. Stocking a wide variety of equipment including lighting has been a key part of the Juice philosophy. Apart from industry standards of Parcans, desks by Avolites and dimming by Avolites we also stock moving heads by Robe. We can design, install and run for you systems that are cost efficient in trucking space, power usage and provide lighting and effects far superior to many other suppliers as we look at all parts of our supply from the venues capability to house and pay for a system to the aesthetic view of "is it providing value for money". We also stock many architectural fixtures for our outdoor events where we can light up pathways, security fencing and buildings with discharge lighting, battery backed up systems, festoons of low voltage and mains voltage lamps. Large effects and building lighting from City Colours through searchlight effects and high power projection.
Mains distribution. A key part of our services has been the stocking of a large department of mains distribution systems and cabling. This has enables us to maintain our high levels of quality control from power source to power usage. We use flexible cabling to a minimum of HO7 standard with cross sectional area exceeding the current draw to enable supplies without voltage drop. We have three phase isolation transformers on wheels that weigh over quarter of a tonne. As part of this we also stock a wide variety of emergency maintained and non maintained lighting in the form of Twin heads, exit signs and UPS battery banks to power heavier loads. We have Splashproof fluorescent fittings for outdoor situations, marquees and all are supplied to a minimum of IP44 standard.
Outdoors. We supply many small and medium size festivals throughout the year and have great experience of working outdoors. Sunny or wet we know the standards to work for and how to use our staff to their best. We have marquees to house equipment and crew offering shelter from the elements. We stock heavy duty Quad bikes with trailers for transport of equipment on rough terrain and weight sensitive areas coupled with 4 x 4 pick ups for regular running around off raod areas. Our health and safety brief takes into account the supply of sun block, wind chill factors, the increased effort of working on green field sites, increased dehydration in wind and sun. This experience carries through into all parts of our supply as our crew are important to us and we assess the impact of all of our work on the staff.
May and Summer Balls. We work a lot with Colleges and Universities to provide entertainment systems over varied sites to include orchestral and highlight places of special interest within the enclosure of the Ball site coupled with stages of varying types from Classical music, ballroom, comedians/cabaret, disco, dance and live bands turning the grounds into a themed event with care and consideration for the ground and buildings. We also have an excellent record with sound systems and the environment installing to effect the best from the sound system whilst causing the minimum disruption to surrounding residents and actively policing our own systems to strict standards liaising with the Local Authority as we do so.
